yeah, I was surprised that I had that kind of fitment issue as they used the same mold for Frank and his looks to fit much better than mine did. I guess the next guy who takes delivery of grille SN:23 can see if he has better luck than I did

yup, spoke to K1 shortly earlier today. they say they'll definitely be more careful with future pieces coming out of production. since these are hand layed and hand finished.

it's good that other consumer are showing feedbacks. it'll be what makes products better.

yeah, it's a process and we all knowingly take a chance when purchasing new to market products for our cars. $30 loss in shipping fees is a small price to pay I guess for taking a shot.

not bad as long as you get to return something not to your standards.

Congrats on the new "Whip" Did you ever graduate from college??? I have been out of the country for 22 months and now I am once again out of the country. I still have my C32, waiting to pull the trigger on a C63 when I get back, if I don't get orders for Italy. Seems like yesterday when you got your first mod for the C32

Looks great, but I agree that the grille would look even nicer with the star, not a big fan of the Brabus look

All you guys with white 204.s in US , could you please tell me what your color code is?, or maybe provide me with your VIN so I can check it out in EPC?

I am not sure if the US white is the same as the one here in EU,
the one I have ordered on my car is called "Calc White" and the code is 650

Thats great, looking at all the white US cars makes me want my car so bad, White is still very rare here in Sweden so I hope to stand out with it.
Some peaople think I am crazy for choosing it

On the downside i think the color could be somewhat brighter, 650 is alost "cream" white, IMO it would look better if it was truly bright snow like white.

well the 650 is already a lot whiter than the 960. The only white that's PURE white from MB it was something we called "Glacier White". forgot the color code, but I'll check later on my sis' W208.

I like the newer Lexus IS white. The white on our car is not as white I believe but that's what sets Merc apart. It doesn't have to be the shiniest, and even then it is still an amazing machine. But I couldn't imagine driving the C in any other color than white.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I like the 650 White. It seems to have some slight red and blue hues in certain light. It looks very thick on the car. And, nothing looks better at night.

BTW, FrankW, was your W203 featured in Traction magazine?

finally had a chance to wash the car and found the passenger sideskirt cracked at the rear end. suspected culprit = mom. oh wellz...must've been one of those turning into a plaza too quick and the rear rides the curb up situation.
