My license plate came for my new benz Im upset

Are you in California? If you are, then the plates at the DMV are most likely in the F sequence still...I've never gone to the DMV to get a license plate, but they should let you have some sort of preference on what you want. Then again, the DMV IS a government run agency 
My plates are EWV, I just missed EWW, haha, and Im glad. (ewww). My neighbor has FKN on her Suburban, go ahead and figure out that one.

they should just ban the F letter from the alphabet. lol
Im planning on going to dmv weds.. wish me luck! I might just have to settle with FVK.

one thing to consider about the plate # - it may be yours for a long time so
you may want to consider getting one you're happy with, otherwise, it'll be
gnawing at you each time you walk towards your car. or, perhaps you can
shrug it off after a few weeks. depends if you're a bit obsessive like some
folks can be with their belongings, espec a Mercedes.
here in WA state, the personalize plate costs an extra $50 a year, as I recall.
but my satisfaction is in knowing that most of it goes towards the state fish
and game division so I'm cool. I could easily give up 25 cups of Starbucks
a year to offset that.

Before I had personalized plates, I would just call around the various private license agencies and ask what was coming up in the box and if one of them sounded like what I wanted, I'd ask when they thought such and such would be available. Then I'd show up about that time or a little early and they would usually dig out what I wanted. So, I got the letters:
914-XXX
911-XXX
944-XXX
300-XXX
190-XXX
Now I have:

I've had to do this before. The clerk will literally have license plates at his or her desk to hand you (in CA anyway).
When I got my new registration on my old car, my DMV clerk allowed me to review the plate before accepting it. I ended up going with the 3rd one (luckily she was very very nice about the entire thing).
So like others have said, try to be very cordial about it.
