Off topic-AMG Performance Tour
I went to the AMG Performance Tour yesterday (received my confirmation Friday). I felt I had to drive a C63 after seeing one in person at the dealership and having my wife tell me "If you want it that bad- shut up and get it!". I did the dyno run with a white C63 and could not believe how uncomfortable that car is. I'm a big guy (6'2") and I could barely get in to that car. I adjusted the seat back and down and still was not happy. I understand the requirement for a performance seat but get serious. I have sat in many high performance cars and had no problems with seating. I was however extremely happy with my test drive of the 09 E63. Unbelievable power and torque but extreme comfort at the same time. I think I'll keep my nice, comfortable C300 and let wifey get the E63. That car is frickin amazing.

Your a big guy and ya you might fit in some cars, but dont think just because you dont fit perfect in these seats, that something is wrong with them. Chances are the other cars that you did like the seats in, most smaller drivers would say that those seats are not tight enough for a high proformance car. You simply cant please everyone in limited spaces to work with. I love those seat, Im 5.9 and its perfect to me.

Seems like here is a marketing opportunity for MB.
Just like we can pick the different packages we buy, why not have different seating packages? Allow larger seats for larger framed people, and smaller for smaller, etc. It's rarely a 1-size-fits-all world, eh?
