New shopper in Montreal - couple of questions...
I'm currently looking at the C300 4matic - just came off a test drive, and I really liked it. Have a few questions, though, in case anybody knows.
1. The "Media interface (with iPod®, USB and auxiliary connections)" for $375 - what is it, exactly? Specifically, what is the USB connector for? As for the aux - is it a 3.5mm headphone jack (isn't there one already in the glove compartment?) or is it an RCA left/right wire?
2. Is the Comand navigation system finally using SD/CF cards, or is it still really a massive PCMCIA slot?
3. Is the "premium" package worth it, or am I better off installing an aftermarket speaker system (is that even allowed? The guy made it sound like no modifications are allowed for fear of voiding warranty)... I'm not afraid of taking stuff apart (kind of proud of my current car PC / GPS / Infinity speakers/sub install in my current ride) but I do not know how **** MB is about people messing with the built-in equipment.
4. Has anybody been able to get a discount off MSRP in the Montreal area? I saw the Toronto thread, but when I haggled in the South Shore dealership, he wouldn't budge on the price of the *car*, was just willing to give me $500 off for "living in the area". I'm guessing I can do better?...
Any help appreciated. Would definitely like to grab one before the aluminum trim goes out of production...

talk to Isidoris. He is my salesman and the rest of my family and friends salesman as well.
Or you can call me first too.

my name is andy.
and if you talk to Isidoris. Tell him Andy Manaras sent you and said he would hook you up!!
The integrated Sat Radio is worth the money - no need for full time I-POD then and the standard glove-box RCA jack works well.
3. There's other stuff bundled in the the CAD premium package...changing sound system parts and supplementing should not be an issue - I've heard that the sound system upgrade is NOT worth it.
4. I go $1000 off, free shipping to my door, free all-weather mats, $100 parts credit. That was before auto sales tanked, incl, MBs.
Tha alum trim is hot - especially at night when you turn on the rearview mirror LED / map light.
