my solution to the acceleration "lag"
... Anyways, to the solution:
Put the car in "S", if you're driving in the city shift to 4th gear and leave it (don't shift up or down). This should be enough to keep the car responsive enough, in every gear, up to about 50MPH. On the highway (50-65MPH limit) shift it to 5th and leave it.
This has worked for me. Let me know if you've had a similar experience after trying this.
I use one and it makes the car much more responsive.
Do a search on this site for "testomonials - most are very pleased with the results.

instead of flooring your pedal to get full acceleration, this booster lets you do that perhaps half way down the pedal..... and it would be just as if you floor it.
so my question is, why not just floor it?

The ECU tune will make your shifting happen more smoothly and quicker. It will remove your speed limiter, and also save you roughly 10-15% on gas mileage. Plus you will get roughly 18HP and 20TQ gains.
Then the sprintbooster will pretty much eliminate all the rest of the lag you have left on your throttle on take off.

you have certified proof of an ECU with those results??
Ha
yet to see it... if so, i would be interested... but like everybody on these boards, ECU's are all hype, and no one has any PROOF yet
Try the shifting meathod I described just to get a feal for what the car can do. You may enjoy it, it's just a flick of the wrist, painless and fun.
