Really bad experience with 360 Forged
#26
Thank you all for your feedback on this, good or bad. Kai, I'm very disappointed in the situation that you've had to deal with here. I spoke with my secretary and shipping manager, and apparently the wheels are with our customs agent in Miami awaiting some export documentation on our side. They will be leaving Miami on Monday.
As many of you know 360 is not a small, unorganized operation, this is an isolated situation which is a result of several issues revolving around our move to the new facility, machinery transfer, and permitting issues. Another main reason for the 4 month lead time is that 3 months were waiting on the centers to be completed from carbon fiber - which were then changed to non carbon fiber.

i am completely impartial on this one and am siding with jordan and 360. there are a lot of factors here that seem pretty explainable and he has come on here and been honest about everything and has a previous stellar record. the time difference is not his fault, the OP initiated the deal and knew about the time difference from the beginning so complaining about it now is not fair. its not like he is picking up a box from the warehouse and shipping it, these are fully custom hand made wheels. if i was in the OP situation i would be pissed too, but i can understand why its taken so long and its not like 360 is some fly by night organization that rips people off.

Bottom line is 360 said they shipped the wheels, and they clearly didn't. Whether it be because of the move, or wheels stuck in customs, the dollar amount spent onthese wheels 360 should have communicated that with their customer (madracer). Juss my 0.02

MadRacer... I hope you get your wheels real soon... Although the wait seems like it is extremly long, I am sure it will be well worth it when the wheels are on your car... Jordan had my wheels done in 4 weeks and I thought that was too long... But once the wheels were on my car, the last thing I was thinking about is how long it took... GL...

I'm in the wheel industry..I know who makes what for who..or who made what for who..and who goes through what for what..Just saying that they do QUALITY over Volume..more on the smaller operation side...in terms of volume...

NO DOUBT 360 Forged is a great company. But they take the hit on this one. 4 months is an incredibly long time to wait for the wheels and after the 360 guy said he shipped them, they were still not shipped yet. That's a big error on 360's part. Yes it was an error and errors can occur in business, but errors should never occur and are usually NEVER a good thing in business and this is no different.

It is not up to me to spill that information....The wheel industry is very incestuous. I help broker a lot of the deals - finished products, all the way down to raw materials...for fun...

Guys, thank you for your comments and for your support. In my own defense, I have just a couple points on this one:
1. 4 month wait was mainly due to the fact that the order was originally for cf5ive, which is carbon fiber and can take up to 3-4 months for completion. When Jack didn't want to wait anymore, (which I understand completely) we decided to go with a brushed espresso finished center instead.
2. Had this been a non carbon fiber order we would have completed the job within our normal lead time of 3-5 weeks.
3. Very true though Jack, there is no excuse for the delays and I do appreciate your business and the fact that you've been so patient with us. I do hope that you love the wheels once you receive them and if there is anything you need afterwards I'm here for you as I have been for maaany others here on the forum.
Given that there are no delays with customs into your country, you should be receiving the wheels within the next couple days.
Thanks everyone!!!

meh, been there done that on both ends. customer's angry with the seller, seller's angry with the supplier...the list goes on. I've learn to be patient ...OR just buy popular brands that are plenty in stock. lol

Customer is always right, and you should get some freebies out of this. Please post some pics.

That's the whole issue. This has messed up the trust your clients had in you, you can't get that back. You lost time and money. You trusted 360 to deliver and they didn't. Damn, these situations keep popping up like crazy.
Glad you got it worked out though, but it sucks.

I'm chiming in a few months too late, I know, but I call on just about everything the 360 guy says. Especially the part about how the extended wait is somehow understandable because of the CF center. If that bit were true, 360 would've known it from the start, and should've advised the customer as such from the start. In other words, the projected delivery date should've been properly set to manage the customer's expectations. If anything, 360 should've promised a later date, and then deliver the wheels earlier. O, happy customer!
Oh, and the customer is ALWAYS right. If any of my clients have a problem, I'm always at fault, unless I've made the decision to purposefully drive away the client (only happens when the client is a complete a-hole/unmanageable/not profitable and I don't care for his business).
I know lotsa people on this forum are happy with 360 Forged's quality and service, but I'll never find that out for myself, for one. Too bad--I like their wheels too...

Jordan,
I just want to check on whats going on with the order for my SL10s? This order was made back at the beginning of November and its suppose to be ship to Hong Kong. Your kind response is kindly appreciated.

nope, he steers clear of this site now after numerous embarrassing debacles. but outside companies, claiming to be unrelated, are attempting to sell new, unused wheels from them. probably people that either got sick of waiting for jordan to get his act together, stop posting pics of his new watches on the internet and actually do some work and who demanded their money back or hopefully 360 is getting closer to bankruptcy and trying to find ways to move a product no one in their right mind would buy from them at this point, especially if you frequent this forum and know how to read.
