09 300 faster than 08??

The Lamborghini Murcielago is all wheel drive...mainly to put all that power down otherwise you would just shred the rears. I don't trust any of the info given at the MB website or in the brochures, they are always vague, they never specifically state if its rwd, 4matic, manual or auto trans, they tend to just list the same figures for all the same models (C300 rwd, C300 4matic having the same numbers) when we know thats not the case. In the past the brochures actually listed different sets of numbers.

To be honest, I didn't notice this hooded gauge cluster, however, it may be there I'm about to go out and check. I don't drive the C class enough to remember the difference. The adujustable seat on the door panel was obvious to me. In any event, I did also check the window sticker and reg and it IS an 09, so I imagine I will find hooded gauge cluster when I go out, but still, why is this car so much faster?! It is crazy how much quicker it feels and more responsive it is. I would drive my C class sport alot more if it felt like this one. They are both 300 4matics. I swear, there is something in this 1!! It even feels more responsive and quicker than my Brabus E350 4matic although there is an obvious weight difference the 350 is a bigger engine! I just don't get it!! Somebody is playing with me!

Have you done the transmission reset?
We noticed the same thing with the loaner.
We did the transmission reset ourselves, even heard the resetting sound after 2 minutes. Then we started driving the car harder for a week, putting our foot down more often, etc.
Now it's really more responsive.

sorry to keep bringing up this thread, but now I'm starting to get concerned. I just got back into my 08 204 after driving the 09 204 all day, and it is just sooo different I'm upset. My car should not feel like this. Its just slow and sluggish. Unresponsive compared to my loaner. It doesn't make any sense. The ecu reset is really just temporary, as you cannot drive like an animal all the time easily. So what gives? My 08 C has nearly 20k and to be honest, it had about 3-4k when we got it. Did people beat the **** out of it on the break-in? Is this unfixable? I'm pretty concerned, so concerned infact that i'm considering a sprint booster which under normal circumstances I wouldn't touch. I just can't believe the difference btwn these two cars. The loaner only has 1200 miles of which I've done about 800 or so, I would figure it would have adapted already, but it is still responsive as anything, super crisp shifting and much more mid and low range than my 08. How can I go about fixing this or atleast isolating the problem? Thanks guys

Well it was just a thought. Adding unsprung weight hurts the acceleration and braking of a car, but it shouldnt be this noticeable.. With that said, I havent driven a 2009, so I haven't experienced the difference.
