Enjoy your car, unless he has the PP you can both reach the same top speed.
The C63 is about 25k more than a C350, and aside from the mechanical features and the seats, there are no extra features for the US. Not to mention the C63 gets horrible fuel economy.
IMO, AMGs are a real waste of money if you live in the US. Although, this is not to say that I do not love them, because I do.

2013 G63 AMG
I test drove the c63 the other day.
It kills the c350 in every aspect!
and if it weren't for our crappy winter and me needing a 4-matic, id be driving the c63 too.
owell.
if you CAN get one.. go for it ... it will be worth all the headaches it takes to get rid of your c350!

I don’t think that the presence of the C63 affects how I feel about my C350 because I can’t afford one. Yes the C63 “kills” the C350 in every aspect (except fuel consumption), and why shouldn’t it? It is 50% more expensive!, it’s not like we are saying “oh, for $5000 more I could have all that” It is stupid comparing the C350 vs the C63.
That being said, if you want to trade your C350 for a C63, I’m guessing you have the extra $25,000 in your pocket that would’ve cost you in the beginning. Well, your C350 is used, why not go for a used C63? Something like this (stolen from another thread):

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I never really considered one. I was going to buy a used CLS (AMG or non) in couple of years, but then I noticed how fast used AMGs drop in value. So, I thought I'd buy a used C63, that is, until I saw the M3 sedan. The decision became difficut. To make matters worse I have become interested in the Pontiac G8 (gasp) with an APS twin turbo setup or the '09 G8 GXP. My final decision is to stop thinking about it until I decide that I don't want what I have anymore. Who knows what will happen in the next couple of years?
Who cares what everyone is talking about? The non AMG C Class is a nice car. Enjoy what you have for now. You'll go crazy regretting your decision. Who knows, you might have regretted buying a C63 after realizing you could have waited and bought a nice used one for a lot less. I know cars are not an investment, but why pay a premium when you don't have to?

I drove the C63 and can't stand that car. I thought the seats were horrible (I know I'll hear about that) and the rest of the car is the same as ours except for the engine/tranny. I don't like paddle shifters (multiple shoulder surgeries) and although the performance is incredible- I could never substitute power for comfort. If I were to buy an AMG- it would be the E63 (with the REAL 6.3). I drove that too and that was amazing. Comfort, Luxury AND performance. Extremely well balanced machine.

Too many lumps, bumps and scoops, anyway.

What is the "real 6.3"?

Ive had both
And the C350 is "easier" to drive. The 63 engine has so much torque and power that is comparatively is not as smooth. Sure I miss the power sometimes but I do not really miss the 13 miles per gallon and the 5,000 mile rear tire changes. For me, driving >45 miles a day, the 350 offers better everyday driveability.

I just got the C63 and its a great car. But you guys are right, its way over priced for what you get. For that price, it should at least have some features that the E has, like keyless go, folding mirrors, pano roof, and some other things. All these things go away as soon as you floor the throttle though! Nothing wrong with the regular C, its a great car in its own right.

I got $3K off. Not the greatest but equitable enough for me. Got it from a smallish dealership that I've done business with before. I've read, but not actually confirmed that people are getting $4-$5K off list. $4k off is right at invoice.

Its not downsized, its the same engine as the rest of the 63's. Its crippled via software by MB so that the more expensive 63 owners don't get their panties in a wad. There isn't a faster AMG sedan than the C63 because its "lighter" than its bigger brothers.
