Hey Guys,

Have you seen some cars with HID projector headlights such as BMW X5, BMW 6 series, Acura TSX, etc...there headlights are really nice from far away it changes color from purpleish to white to yellowish white when it approaches closer. Is there anyway I can make my C300 the same affect? Is it the bulbs that create that changing color affect? It looks so cool, I really want it on my Benz C300 too...

every headlight is made differently.

but im pretty sure it is the projector itself that causes this.

range rovers do this the most.

and there is no way you can modify your headlights to create this ''effect'' unless you maybe change your projector.

would be a waste of your time tho

If you saw your car coming at you from a distance at night with the headlights on you might notice the same effect as well. As mentioned above it really is just the way the light is refracted with the projector and the angle at which you're viewing it.

I notice the same with projector halogens and projector HIDs.

Too bad our C300 won't have the effect, maybe just minimal...
I agree on the Range Rover is very nice, it changes colors at different distant.

is the projector lance, AsianML is correct if you have HID your car makes the same effect
