What does adding 20 HP do for your 0 to 60? I'd like to have my 300 faster than a Honda Accord Coupe and/or a Altima Coupe...

to be honest my custom shop suggested forgetting 15hp for $500 and get a 75hp nitrous shot for $1400, they say it's completely safe.
I was thinking about a setup something like this: custom exhaust (headers back), pully system, ECU mod(Veloce claims 30hp) and 75HP shot nitrous (I'd really like a 100hp shot but was told that was pushing it).
Thats setup should cost about $5000 and put you over 400hp on a C350.

Thats true but I'm not a fan of nitrous. Its HP that you have temporary and it is not permanent (when you run out of nos you are left with an empty tank and the same power as before)

Well without the nitrous you may be able to get 50hp if you have a good exhaust, ECU and pully kit.
As far as nitrous true it is only temp power but it's there when you need it!! you can get almost 2 minutes of nitrous per tank which equals 10-13 quarter mile passes (not exactly sure but around there)
$500 for 15 hp will not be felt at all (except in your wallet)

Does 15 to 20 HP improve your 0 to 60 by much?

nychokeyplaya35 01-07-2009 09:35 AM

Doing nitrous on a Benz lol....I dont know about that, any shot of it is really not the best thing for your engine...if u wanted a faster car should of bought a 335i and did a ecu and u would be around 400HP

you cant feel it but youll see it on your speedometer..and ofcourse your gas mpg goes WAY UP..which is NICE..especially gas is slowing going back up..and the shop that i went to Sonic MS asked speedi innovations to get me the super aggresive tune..its just up to your driving style i mean you ahve to beat on the car for about 300 miles for your computer to learn how you drive..if you drive the car like a grandma when you just got your tune thtas how your car going to react to the tune..its not like my evo9 when its tuned its tuned that way..OB3 is a totally different!!!! the computer relearns how you drive after the fact of your tune..
