Emergency Trunk Triangle

Even on the US Spec manual, there is a little blurb on this emergency triangle. i know these arent available on US cars, but i still want one
anybody know where i can get one, or perhaps a part number for the official w204 triangle? or perhaps its the same for all mercedes cars?

Have you talked to MB parts department at your local dealership? They have access to MB part database in Germany and may find the right part for you. Not sure they will bring it in the States, that at least you will know what to order...

Do we even have the clips on the trunk lid to hold the triangle? If not, just pick up one at a parts store and keep it in the spare wheel well. I always keep a triangle, flares, mag light, fire extinguisher, leatherman, jumpercables and a first responders first aid kit in the car. The W204 is the only car I have owned that would keep everything under the load floor...at least it has best in class storage somewhere...

If it makes you feel any better I picked mine up at the factory in Sindelfingen and they gave me one (since it's a requirement for Germany) it is nothing special and I'm almost sure it's not even Mercedes branded. But I'll look at it later on and see if it is and if so if there is a part number. Also, it doesn't have a particular spot it goes, it's just under the floor in the trunk.

I think it was my old w203 that had a foldable triangle in a fake leather carrying pouch that stored in the side compartment. I think it was later taken away from standard equipment and stuck in some package. I'm sure you can order it from the parts department if you really want it lol.

Just pick up an aftermarket one and stick it in the spare well. Thats what I did as well as a fire exstinguiser, jumper cable (long trips the jump pack is in the trunk) a T-bar, compressor, 3d cell maglight and assorted hand tools. I used to drive british cars so all that was a must. I also keep a microfiber blanket in the passanger side cubby in the trunk.
