Another broken foglight!
With labor and tax you should be around $300... I should know cause I paid for installation since it was too cold in Chicago to replace it myself.
pictures wont really help since i just bought the transparent film

there are two types of film you can get, one thicker than the other... fwiw, i bought the thinner one (easier to install) and you can tell a noticeable difference if you tap the glass, before and after install

Why? Well, we don't salt our roads, we sand them. All that sand gets sprayed up onto our cars. The W204 is my second car with the clear bra, and all my previous cars had dulled headlights and pitted hoods before I traded them.
And, I keep my cars for anywhere from 9 to 17 years, so yeah, pitting happens!
if all else fails, call their customer service. they're pretty helpful.
I hardly drive on the freeway and when I do it's in the summer only (I'm leisure driver) so never did the head lights.

Pretty decent price at only $80 for a pair. They say the foglights are made by HELLA. Just curious of the quality and fitment. Thanks!

Did you guys replace stock fog light bulb w/ something different after apply the lamin-x film?
Heating the film with a hair dryer doesn't work that well as the material is thin and cools down fairly quickly. I just keep the headlights on and the heat from the lights is enough to keep the film soft and pliable.
Be sure to keep the surface wet and apply the film slowly so that you could press the air bubbles as you go along (it's easier to do it at this point rather than later). The instructions says not to put too much water on the lens, which I took very literally which made squeeging out the air bubbles very difficult.
The film will look like crap when you first install it, but the haze and bubbles will disappear over time as the moisture and adhesive will disappate through the film. Parking your car in sunlight will speed up this process.
I went with a very light tint for the headlights which made it look like the C63 headlights. I went with yellow for the fogs, but I'm sure about the look of them. I will replace it with clear soon -- I already have rallye yellow bulbs for the fogs for poor weather conditions.
