i did a quick search on here and came up with nothing for our cars.........

Has anyone switched out their fogs for HID fogs??? i just ordered 3000K for mine but was wondering what you thought about having HID fogs, like pros/cons or just general knowledge for anyone looking to upgrade to HID fogs....
i cant wait to get mine and i'll post a vid as soon as i get them installed next week. Thanks guys!

I've got them on my W203. They definitely output more light but since MB engineered the fog lights properly, that light only illuminates a couple feet of visible road.

The only thing that I DON'T like is that due to the warm up time and other factors, I'm now more concerned about when the fog lights turn on and I now always operate my lights manually.

Oh and don't forget, depending on your kit, you may get a bulb out warning.

I bought 2 kits, the 4300K and 3000k. I liked both but I liked the matched look of the 4300K better. I'm sure I'll get bored and put in the 3000K for a while sooner or later

I've watched HID fogs get installed in the 204s. It's not a simple plug and play. Involves a bit of drilling. Final product looks great though. Also remember if you want to match your heads, that even if you get the same temp HID for your fogs and heads, the color will be slightly off due to the space and projection.

on my car they looked a little whiter than my 4300k stock HID BIX. I'm thinking it's because the reflector housing for the fogs.

I recently put in 6000K bulbs in my BIX and they're just slightly whiter/bluer than my 4300K fogs.

DDM sells HID bulbs that are 4500K, they're perfect color temp imho. not too rice and not too yellow. just right amount of blue/white light.

My friend did it on his white c350, involves drilling and then setting the xenon bulbs into the housing, because theres a special cap on the end of the fog light housing. Not sure if therse a bulb out warning or not.
