Ok. Where do I start?
At first it looks great. The closer you look- the more you find.
The "Mercedes" star they claim is OEM does not look or feel like an OEM star.
When I stated that earlier in another post someone responded saying it was a star from a ML. I don't think so. The tabs hold it in place by turn/lock. If this is how ML's have their starts attached- you would never see a ML with a star (they would all be stolen). The grille itself looks nice but the quality of materials is where it fails. If you compare it to your OEM grille- there is a substantial difference in weight and feel. The chrome strips are OK (not perfect) and the black finish on the fins looks OK. The major problem is with the fitment. If you search posts you will find pictures of the grille installed. The top of the grille protrudes past the end of the hood (should be flush). This is because the radiator shroud hits the mounting bracket that holds the T bar on the grille. I trimmed the bracket on my grille with my Dremel tool and it helped (should have done it at the beginning). You also need to be careful when installing. Other posters have stated they broke/cracked their grilles during install.
After sharing all this- I do have to admit I love the way it looks (get a lot of compliments on it) I just wish the overall quality was a little better.
