A/C smells sooo bad & sour & rancid after service!!
So i took my car in for service, and when i got it back the A/C was on 'Max A/C'... now every time i turn on/off the A/C it will smell SOO rancid for about 5 minutes, this did not happen before taking my car in for service. Any ideas how to get rid of this smell? I think its the mildew in the system or somthing.

We had same problem. I see you are in OC . Try Steve Lambert @ Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel (949) 347 3860. He helped us . Attached work order with part numbers ,repaired under Warranty .
We had numerous small things attended to during the " A" service. Tranny lag , A/C etc .

They have spray cleaners that will clean out your evaporators. Tell them to clean it out. I hate those idiot dealer guys, they always crank the AC to the lowest setting and also turn on recirculate. Hello! Its an automatic system!
