my c350 4matic in the snow
ok so its been quite a while since i have posted here and i tend not to add anything unless its something of value. i just had to say that this is the first year i have driven the 350 4matic in the snow and i am very impressed. I live in vancouver and was driving the car up hill in no less that 4-5 inches and had no problem getting around.

C300 4MATIC (w204)
ive got a 300 4Matic and it snowed in VEGAS last week. I was the only one in the neighborhood who could get up their drive way! lol. I also went skiing the on Sat and was very impressed with the 4matic.

I have snow tires in addition to my 4matic and I was extremely impressed with mine when I was driving home from the mountains in the snow. SUVs were swerving and sliding off the road in front of me and my car was pretty much driving itself.

Thats exactly what I did. I'll post some pics for you guys.
Im in vancouver too, ( well richmond ). I suggest the Air Port if you want to find some nice snow. Watch out for cops.
I also did the hill thing, I wanted to see how good it was with the summer tread. Surpisingly it made it up with no running start.

2009 C300 Sport 4Matic, 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
Chicago 4Matic driver here (300 though). I can say that it handles very well in the snow. The snow thus far in Chicago has been really bad this year, so I've mostly been driving my Jeep, but the times I did drive the 300, it maneuvered very nicely!

Cool - AWD is sweet.
My RWD gets around great with Dunlop 3D - thanks top amazing stability & traction control.
Never stuck or uncomfortable in the record snow (since 1955) in Calgary.
I was betting on the systems to compensate for lack of AWD when I bought it and I'm impressed.

2011 BMW 335xi titanium silver.
With the repeated snow dumping here in Ontario, the 4M performed well, didn't get stuck or slide too much, even with 235s all around. My previous A4 was a little more 'fun' in the snow last winter, not sure if it was a fresh set of snows, or the 50/50 front/rear split.
BTW, has anyone enrolled in the winter driver course offered by MB?

I went to Vermont for the Holiday week and my C300 4 Matic was the only vehicle that made it up the icy, snow coverd driveway. Landrover and saab suv's dod not make it. Everyone was very impressed.

Nice to hear, did you have All seasons, or winters on your car at that time?
Mine as you can see only has summers on it. I can only wonder how good it would be with better tires.

This has been a heavier winter than normal for us on the west. We had about 2 ft of snow in the last couple of weeks. My car is not that great but it gets me around. ( summer tires ). Sounds like your in for more fun!

Nice pics man, love em! Where'd you take them, near the fraser river? I was wondering what camera did you use? And when you imported them to the computer did you use any effects on them?

Thanks!
No effects, its a Fuji digital cam. Nothing fancy but its pretty good. Some pics have a flash so you get the blueish crispy, clear picture.
Ya its at the airport, along the dyke, under the new skytrain bridge.
If you take the new bridge going to the airport by River Rock. Go the main terminal, Turn right to go to Iowna Beach and after the new over pass turn right on the first road. Just follow it and it will take you under the bridge.
Oh and the other pics are across the the BCIT campus. And finaly one is taken at the south terminal. You can see terra nova in the back.
I just figured out yesterday or the day before how to load the pics on this site, haha not the most comp savy guy.
