I'D LIKE TO BLACK OUT THE CHROME FOG LIGHT RINGS ON MY C350, WOULD SOMEONE BE KIND ENOUGH TO DO A DIY ON REMOVING THE CHROME RINGS, I'M SURE I CAN FIGURE IT OUT AFTER I RUIN THE FIRST ONE.........

 

Easy to do there are three torx screws holding the grill that surrounds the fog light. Take those out then flip the grill over there are either three or four (don't remember did this awhile ago) clips holding the chrome ring in place just push them gently in and it will come out. To reinstall just push the ring back into the grill till the fingers snap into place the reattech the grill with the three torx.

Hey Ron, Darth is looking great but it looks like you may have a little bit of rust forming on your wheel hubs....maybe time for a little "stove black" or some powder coating??

 

I'm waiting for the spring to spray the hubs flat black, might do the calipers also. The CF on the grill is no more someone decided he or she wanted it more than me and quite literally ripped two strips off the car. Since I didn't have enough left to faricate new ones I took the rest off. Anouther project for the spring is the grill I found some .05 mm thick CF that is fairly flexable and is almost as thin as vinyl might do it up like AZN's grill and black out the chrome strips.
