Cimarron?
Mind began to wander, and to wonder: have Mercedes created another Cimarron? Caddy really messed up on that, and the consumers voted with their pocketbook. Now the C is no Cimarron, it's not a cheap rebadging of some econobox, but it is also not hugely popular.
I'm thinking that the down economy hasn't helped at all, but when I can go for a month and see maybe 1 or 2 other Cs, that's not good. Where I live, it's not at all uncommon to see 3 or 4 Mercedes at an intersection. They seem to be everywhere. But they're older Cs, and Es, and some Ss. Not very many new Cs.
Ideas?
I saw a C63 at Massapequa when I was in there for service last. I thanked the service tech for prepping my rental before he even had a chance to say hello LOL.
I also see C300 / 350's all the time. Maybe not every day, but 3 or 4 per week.

Looks like C Class sales were up over 13% for 2008 even though company wide totals were down. Seems to bode well for the C not being remembered like the Cimarron, Edsel or Azteck.

I see mostly 300, I think mine is the only C350 I have seen around here.
The ones I do see are usually black, white, or palladium silver.
Still yet to see a C63.
When I was in Toronto over the holidays I did see a fair number of Cs, but nowhere as many as the 3-series. However I did see a few C63.
