I have an intermentent check engine light goes on for a couple of days and shuts off, happened a few times. My gas cap is tight and only use 93 oct.

 

Mine CEL lit on 12/27 and took the car to the dealer on 12/29 two O2 sensors were bad. I would have them check it out.

 

i had this intermittent problem when i had K&N air filters in
check to make sure your filters are clean and that your box is securely on.

Not sure why the K&N's caused the CEL but as soon as I put back stock paper ones, the CEL went away within 1 hour of driving

 

Oil off the K&N filters causes the maf sensor to act up and the check engine light comes on. Try cleaning the maf to see if the light will go off.
