HID Installation

Hi

I know what you'll say... there are a thousand threads about this but...
As I was trying to install a Promax kit I ordered, I just couldn't figure out a good spot for the huge ballast on the left side. I've read almost all of the threads here and can't find pictures about this.
And, as for the right side, can the ballast be mounted on the wheel cover? Or will it get too hot and melt the plastic? And, lastly, will the double side tape be strong enough to hold it in place?

Can anybody help? TIA

I stuck both of them on the wheel well cover, secured with high temp double sided. Worked well enough and know of several who use the same setup with their ballast for years, but me being paranoid reinforced it with some zip ties just in case.

thanks a lot!
Is the double sided tape that comes with them good? and, how did you secure the zip ties, did you drill holes in the wheel cover?

thanks again!

I already had some high temp heavy duty double sided laying around. I prefer to use my own material just to be safe. As for the zip ties, there are plenty of hooks, holes, and stubs you can use to secure it.
