HID; Need members' opinions

So, here it goes.. I placed an order with one of the forum sponsors for a set of bulbs for headlights and a kit + error canceller for the foglights. That was last monday. the next day, he sent me a pm saying that he received the money via paypal. On thursday, I sent a pm asking him when would I receive the HIDs. He didn't reply.

Then yesterday, I found out that w204 use D1S bulbs. Heordered me the D2S for the headlights. (I told him that my car is 2009 w204 with factory Bi-Xenon) Then I pm'ed him asking about this.

Today, I called him, but he was not there. This guy (not the one who I ordered the items from) told me that they have not send the items, and that the D1S bulbs would cost me $100. I paid $40 for the D2S and $100 for the kit + error canceller for my foglights.

the thing is, if he is selling the kit for $65, including the ballasts. How could the bulbs cost me $100? and he mentioned:
We have most bulb applications in stock, each kit includes, two slim ballasts, and a pair of HID bulbs
I just want to hear what you guys think. No offense to the seller or anyone. He seems to be a nice person. If what I wrote here was wrong, please do tell me.

Thanks.

D1S bulbs are significantly more expensive than D2S. A pair of D1S bulbs for $100 sounds about right.

I know that from the other HID threads, e. The thing is, he said the whole kit would be $65 (including ballasts). and he posted in w204 and w204 amg sections, so he has to know what type of bulbs w204s use, right?

he also said "We have most bulb applications in stock, each kit includes, two slim ballasts, and a pair of HID bulbs." That was from w203 sub-forum. He did mentioned $65 for all the sub-forum he posted in.

Thansk for the reply. once again, just asking for opinions.

Edit, he said this too: "Special is for any bulb fitment." taken from the same w203 subforum.
