02 VW Jetta, 09 C230

Hood latch?

This might seem like a dumb question, but I just picked up my 2009 C230 and was wondering how do I open the hood?. Is there a lever or latch?, where is it located? Thanks.

2008 C300 Sport 6M

There's the standard lever near the e-brake, and then under the front of the hood there should be a latch just to the left of center.

No its not a dumb question!
Im sorry but the first place you go is the owners booklet. Oh and rest asure that the car also comes with a trunk release. Its under the hood
