I have a 2008 220 CDi and i have the old style mirrors, i wanted to know if the new style ones fit on to the old ones?

Yes they will. DIY is not available so you have to get it done by the MB service and they will charge you as well. I am not sure how difficult it will be if you DIY.

since the price is 500 Euros excluding labour here in Europe, I do not think its worth it.
The old mirrors look ok anyway.

Wait for your old mirrors to break and then replace them. Plus the old mirrors are bigger, though I haven't seen the new ones in person yet, logically I would believe that you can see more with the older mirrors.

From view prospective you wont find any difference in new and old. Its just the frame that looks smaller and less curvey. I saw them in person and they do look better but not that good to get the old one changed. I would be better off to spend this money else where. my 0.02 cents
