2014 Ghibli S Q4 & 2008 C350
I ordered them last weekend and they should be here today. I'm going to install them inside first to see how they look, then probably put them in the license plate. I'll try to take some pics of them inside. Pictures don't always do justice but we'll see.

I've received mine a couple of days ago, put them into the eyelids without flickering and errors.
Only thing is it looks too blue to me, and it is also kindof dimmed. How about the rest of the guys that have got the same LEDs? Do you guys think it's too blue and dimmed?
Photos taken with my phone, and they look brighter and whiter than the lights actually are....

2014 Ghibli S Q4 & 2008 C350
Mine arrived today. I quickly tossed two of them in one of my eyelids to see how they compare with my polarg bulbs. I think they're way too blue for my liking. I think they'll look better else where. The polarg bulbs I have are a pretty good match my stock HIDs.
Once thing I did notice is I thought these LED units where slightly brighter than the polarg. Not significantly brighter to the point where you could see them in daylight. I noticed though that the brightness was largely influenced by the position of the bulb in the housing. Regular bulbs with filaments don't have this issue, but these LED units contain two LEDs, one each side of the unit so the light is more directional.
Yes, but I think the brightness is influenced by the directional nature resulting from the design of these. Try rotating the unit once it is in place to see how it effects your brightness. If that helps you'll need to find a way to hold them in place as you put the cap back on...

QUOTE=chubbs032;3337470]"Note: These "BIHAKU" LED bulbs will properly light up without flickering, but for some models, after the installation, the vehicle will still show error on dash board computer.
If the bulbs won't work properly for your vehicle, please send us inquiry and we will take them back and issue you full refund for the order."
Side note, anyone know what the rear dome replacement light is? I read somewhere its a 36 or 39mm festoon bulb? I wan't to get that in matching super white LED or Incadescent....any option is appreciated?[/QUOTE]
I just bought 12 of the smd off ebay and trust me this seller is GREAT,
though its from china, but what isnt?
Dome light is 1039 aka 39mmr could be 1142 aka 42mm
i believe the main dome light is 42mm
and the rest of the lights ex(under the door) are 39mm
I just bought 12smd for my ML interior, and 2 licience plate bulb..
Trust me on this pls. DONT GET LED get SMD...
the difference is this, LED are the ones with the glass over it kinda like a bulb..
SMD is like the one shown on the posted picture about... which is flat.
and the brightness is MUCH bigger difference
because LED bulb DIRECTLY shoot out to a specific area,
and SMD bulbs spread in a way. and its FREAKING BRIGHT...
Bright enough that a strip of 15 smdcan light up your whole underbody.
If you want SMD light on ebay, depending on your size,
search up 1039 LED or 1142 LED..
those would be the model number.
Most people dont know the difference between LED and SMD, and they tend to use the term LED instead of SMD.
LED shoots far, because it directs striaight
SMD are just bright and spread
You really dont need to USE LED because how far do you really need the range to be.
SMD are 10times brighter than a stock dome light. (white) would be the brightest and nicest. especially to match our HID
I just bought a 120cm SMD strip for my underbody, and it GLOWS like my HIDS.
I also bought a strip of 30 cm long aka 15 SMD for my trunk(connected the black and red to the Dome) and it basically lit my whole trunk up like its morning .
REMEMBER SMD are flat and LED are the bulbs
Also the reason it flicks for the interior is because of one reason, and i notice this cause i examined it on my ML..
you would need to change all the stock dome lights when you open your door, its more than one dome lgiht that turns on. (under your door, under the driver/passenger area, and the dome light. (plus it looks better.)
I have actually compared between LED and SMD and Stock
SMD is Much brighter than ALLLL..
LED is okay, but not as bright.
Stock is same as LED but just the color is different.
Be sure when you search them up. dont search up SMD on ebay, seach up LED instead because most seller call it LED instead of SMD because more buyers recognize the term LED more than SMD.
search up LED 194, or led 1039, led 1142 and you can just buy whichever that looks like SMD lights.
Here r some pictures.
SMD for dome light or strips or city light
city light (194)

SMD STRIP (great for trunk and underglow) thin water proof and flexible
![](http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww328/led-dna/STW-W-48.jpg)
AND DOME LIGHT BULBS (1036,1039,1142) First 2 number is the width and last 2 number is the length.ex if your stock dome light bulb is 39mm the you would use 1039"" take the stock one out and measure it.
notice both SMD lights use the are the same but the 2 pic has more SMD and the first pic has 2 only with a clear cover.
thats because the first one is much more larger, and its a 39mm bulb which use more power and brighter
and the 2nd one is a 36MM bulb which has more SMD but are much smaller. less power

festoon bulb dont work with license plate nor eyelid,we need 168,194 bulb type and the one from ebay is an SMD type LED.The good thing about the one in Ebay it has a resistor built in no need to splice you wires.

![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I just got my pair of these, and want to use them inside as the reading lamps (not the ones in the rear view mirror), but can't figure out how get to the bulbs. Normally, I'd see a tiny little indent where i can stick a small screwdriver and wa-la apply a bit of torque and it's open, but here... i'm shaking my head wondering how the heck i get in there!

Update: Just did this, and broke the left dome light cover (d'oh!!!) Anyone have a part # and idea where to get a cheap replacement? advice: use a large flathead screwdriver, not a small one. Good news is they work like a charm with no error codes!

Anyone who bought these sets of LED have MY08? I seem to think that for some reason MY08 does not work well with LED. I was in the other GB and the LED worked fine with MY09 but all flickers in MY08 including mine. I end up just them inside the car. Also, how bright is it really. I see a post saying it is bright and another saying that it is not really that bright. Can someone post a good picture of the LED in their eyelid during the daytime and one during the night?

They don't fickle or give error codes, but they are really not very bright. The bulbs itself is white, but the light covers make them look blue-ish.
