I've been tempted by it. As you said very expensive but that is because it is new and the only one available. Give it a year and it should drop. I was also thinking of having the sides painted to match my car leaving only the center raised section CF.

I have.2 things, first, that hood is coming from Hong Kong - take it for what its worth.#2) I have a CF hood for my C43.The fitment took a while to get right, but the heavy a$$ hinges that support our hood causes problems when you go to close it.You have to be REAL careful when you close it or you can snap it.These hoods do not like the heat of the summer sun and are prone to crack if not supported properly or closed properly.Good luck whatever route you take.

from the things you have told me ,i decided not to buy this type of hood, because it is very sensitive and could be break any time.....
thanks a lot

thats odd.. a good carbon fiber anything for that matter should be stronger that some sheetmetal..and for that price i hope its a vacuum technology type carbon fiber hood. look at www.vorsteiner.com hoods @ over 1k a piece, i doubt prices will fall for this hood, but then of course i highly doubt this hood has the same technology as vorsteiner.
