I think it depends on the smoothness of the road you drive on. Cause on smooth roads, my car is very quiet. The moment there's a bump on the road, the interior starts to act up.

Hoy ........... i haven't been back to Manila in years however with the amount of traffic there i don't think you can go fast enough to hear any creaks and rattles !!

You should come back home! The traffic isn't as bad as it used to be. Though it's still bad for American or European standards. hahaha

If you time your traveling properly and stay away from the main roads, you can get to some pretty high speeds. The only problem is the non-main roads are not paved well!

At 25 000Km

At 25 000Km myne developed some low frequency cracks/pops around the centre console area.It seems like my seat sometimes, but sometimes centre console area, usually on pull away even in straight line...? Now 29 000Km. Will hear what they say at B-Service later. I hope it's not the centre cabins welding.

47,000 miles and no squeeks or rattles. For once in my life, I think I may have gotten a car that wasn't built on a Monday or Friday. lol

Well I've faced squeaks around winter time which because of the fact that the plastic used in the vehicle contracts. This is a natural phenomenon. Otherwise the only other time my car squeaks is when it goes through bad potholes which by luck are aplenty in India. LOL!

I don't think there's a design problem in your car, unless you've been sold a car that might have been repaired (Very RARE!!!). Mercedes has a worldwide standard for building its products irrespective of where it was assembled so i don't anticipate any lack of quality!

I also had cracking noises coming from the seatbelt area both on the driver's side and passenger's side. It took the dealer 4 visits to remove the noises. Pain in the butt

also had a noise from the steering wheel core when going over bumps, the dealer took apart the whole console and stuffed tons of sound deadening materials inside, problem solved

This morning we also had a rattling noise from a difficult to locate area. We had been surfing at the local beach & the Labrador in the back seat was also pretty waterlogged.

We tracked down the rattle to Lilly's laboured breathing. Her neck was resting on the 'Dog
Seat Protector Bucket' in front of the rear seat central air-conditioning vent.

What exactly did they do in order to fix that problem?

Do they still do that odd or even number license plate in order to drive?

They changed it now. It's no longer odd of even. It's based on the last number of your license plate now.

On Monday, cars with plate numbers ending with 1 and 2 can't be driven.
Tuesday, 3 and 4.
Wednesday, 5 and 6.
Thursday 7 and 8.
Friday 9 and 0.
Saturday and Sunday are free days so usually Saturday and Friday nights have the most traffic.

I prefer this to the odd or even scheme since now you only have 1 day of the week that you can't use your car.

Funny, I only notice a noise coming from the seat when no one is sitting there. Once someone sits there, the sound goes away.
