My NEW 20's......
3 piece with chrome lips. 2" in front. 3" in rear. Tires will be here tomorrow. I'll probably wait until late march or April to put them on the car. Potholes in the DC area are horrible. We will be experimenting with tires on Wednesday. I will post pics.
Before anyone asks there is a white packing cover on the back of the wheel. Aaaahhh...... this wheel will be so much easier to clean.
Rims are:
20x8.5 42ET
20x10 54ET
Tire options:
#1 235/35-20 and 255/30-20
#2 235/30-20 and 285/25-20

That is pretty ballsy with the roads in DC...or most anywhere for that matter, but great looking wheels. Looking forward to seeing how she looks when they are on.

My Maxima's are lowered on 19's and 20's. I have alot of experience remembering where all the potholes are. It's like having the "FORCE". I just know what lane to be in and not to be in.

Oh yeah, any wheel tire package from the factory has a disclaimer stating just that. If you have the 18s on the C, they tell you the same.

So if one were to buy a car that has 19's on it, and lives in an area that has a lot of pothoholes, will they be inclined to downsize their wheels?

That's a personal decision. If you tend to stick with familiar roads and don't drive aggressively, you may be fine...if not...you may be replacing/repairing wheels and suspension parts on occasion.

OK they're on!! I'm taking a BIG risk putting them on in late February but I can't wait til April. It's too dark to take pics tonight. I will wash her up and take pics in the afternoon.
No rubbing! I went with F 225/30-20 and R 255/30-20. It looks nice. I'm just happy that all my cars have 5 spoke wheels and no more mesh.
Mandrus (TSW) will post pics of my car on their website. That's pretty cool.

Here are some pics. It's pretty dreary out in Maryland today and I have no photgraphy skills. I ordered Eibachs and they will be on this Friday.

not bad looking, b careful with those rims as compared to factory rims. The spun barrels have very soft lips as opposed to cast rims. Where in DC are you?
