blank P2 package buttons?

Has anyone managed to use any of those blank buttons next to the rearshade button for anything? can those be turned into switches? why are those there anywayz?

I know that cars that come with the parktronic (in Europe) use one of the remaining butons to shut it off. I guess it is just for looks. I cant imagine the shade button sitting there all by itself. On the other had, the blank buttons make it look like you are missing something that was supposed to be there.

I believe one of the four buttons at the centre is not assigned for anything (excluding some special vehicles possibly). The three are for Parktronic, rear window shade and vehicle dynamics package.
