3 Zone Climate Retrofit (US models) Possible?
I'm curious what models outside the US look like(internal) in the rear center console by the vents?
This is my US model and the wires are for the vent wheel "illumination".
I wonder if there is another harness for the 3 zone climate control or this one low voltage wire set would power the electronics also? Does the 3 zone have a different blower motor under the center console?
Any help for us US customers is appreciated to see what is involved in retrofitting..

According to EPC a retrofit would be very expensive, you need a sh_tload of additional items, such as a new front and rear control panel, a complete air housing distributor, new recirculating unit and much more.

Looking at the list of parts you mention it makes sense in controlling the temperature properly.
One less modification to worry about as the cost would be too much to justify.

E200C-Fully loaded, Obsidian Black, ILS, Panoramic roof and some other bits and pieces.
As vic has mentioned, it's almost impossible to do a retrofit 3 zone, as you need air vents from back to the main climate control unit. The control panel only controls the temperature but the air flows from the main unit.
