Key not detected
Apologies if this problem has been posted before...
I have the keyless option on my C3504M. The other day while driving, the centre dial turned red and said 'Key not detected', an alarm sounded and the audio went quiet. After a few seconds it stopped, then it happened again a few minutes later, then it happened constantly for the last 5 minutes of my journey.
Anyone had this happen, or know why it might happen?

It happens when the system cannot detect your key, I get this once in a while if my key is in my coat pocket, and buried down deep in it, and then it's blocked even more by the seat belt as well, but I will just shift the key position, or put it in my shirt pocket, and it happens no more, nothing to worry about, but just shift the key to another pocket, and youll be fine.
One other thing I have heard is the battery might be low ?

Ya, it shouldnt be anything to worry about. I keep the key in the cupholder, so I havnet had any issues. If it still happens after you put the key out, take it to your dealer. It could also be a low battery or a sensor issue.

No keyless Op
this happened to me also, had to get another key ordered from dealer. I dont have the keyless op tho, my issue was the key would unlock the car but once in the key hole, it would not turn the ignition. U might wanna check the dealer for a new key, its in the warranty so it wont hurt to ask.
