Question about vibration
Hello all,
This is my first post here
I have just picked up a CPO C300 with manual transmission recently.
So far I like it a lot. Still one thing bothers me. I can feel some unpleasant vibration in the stick as well as the clutch pedal, particularly when I accelerate in 1st or 2nd gear. I was told by the CA at the dealership that this is "normal".
What is your experience? I am thinking about taking a new C300 for a test drive to compare.

Not really a violent shaking, but rather a "tingling" sensation. I have seen manual transmissions that had some engine vibration transmitted through the pedal and the stick, but I am not sure if this is normal in C300.

Another round of ICE
After 3,000 miles, I have no vibrations in the powertrain on my 09 C300 speed. I had a bit of chatter on 1st gear clutch engagement when new, but that seems to have disappeared....(maybe some surface contamination?)

I have about 4500 miles and my transmission has improved with age. I had issues with shift quality but that has noticealbey improved. I still have a bit of vibration and a little chatter(almost like a bad throwout bearing) but not enough to concern me.

Digging this back up. My dad picked up a 2009 C300 6-speed over this past weekend. The car has 31,500 miles and is in perfect condition. The only thing about it is the unpleasant feeling in the clutch as you let out on it to take off. My dad has been driving manuals for 40+ years and myself for 15, so it isn't lack of skill or anything like that. I'd describe it as feeling like something is rapidly slapping the back of the clutch pedal.
Warranty has time expired but as it is a Carmax car it has 30 days bumper to bumper so we want to get this checked out. For as refined as it is, this just doesn't seem normal to me. It's just hard to accurately describe.
