I am trying to upload my music from my ipod to the cars hardrive. Does anyone know if this can be done? Or, can the ipod be controlled through the multi media/navigation system? When I plug my ipod in i can play it through the AUX mode, but i cant select anything other than the volume. I need to change the songs from the ipod itself in the glove box. Can the ipod intergrate and be controlled from the vehicle? The ipod has the mercedes logo on the ipod when playing. Any help would be great.

if you have the ipod integration kit, that plugs into the ipod dock connector and not the headphone port, you can control it and access the ipod menu from the steering wheel controls

Search is your friend, there have been many threads on the I-pod kit.

No you cannot copy from the I-pod to the HD.

The I-pod can only be controlled thru the stearing wheel/dash board.

The I-pod integration is terrible and is a big waste of money.

Didn't your car come with a manual for the I-pod kit?

+2 And they even let you pay more for it than a frakin iPod... Used it once to try and listen to an audiobook.

Audiobook + any iPod = crap
Audiobook + iPod + $375 MB integration kit = Worthless....
