How much to replace Boot lid

Yesterday I’ve noticed a very tiny dent on the edge of my car’s boot lid (trunk lid), to the right of where the Mercedes badge is located
I don’t have a clue how it got there or who did it, it’s actually heart breaking as I’ve been trying to keep the car scratch free for almost 3 months now.
The dent is so tiny that is unnoticeable by anyone who doesn’t know it’s there, you need to look really closely at an angle and direct sunlight to notice it, but the problem is that I do know it’s there and that is making me crazy.
I was wondering how much it would cost to replace the boot lid altogether and would I be able to replace it myself or do I have to let Mercedes do the job.

Just take it to a body shop they could fix it and you will never see it again.

If it really is as tiny and hard to notice as you say, you may want to wait a month and see if you still feel it is worth it to repear. You are going to get some "patina" on the car as she ages. This may be a good one to leave, as you can't really notice it, and it would likely be pretty expensive/involved to repair. I personally would prefer a very slightly dented trunklid than one which has mismatched paint in a few years.
Besides it will lessen the blow when you do finally get that "big one" on the door...

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Have you considered paintless dent removal? I would imagine the panel could be easily accessed with the trunk lid liner removed.
