Kleeman ECU Tune
Well I picked up my car (09 C350) yesterday from the shop after having the Kleeman ECU Tune done. I haven't had too much time to play around with it because I work nights, but I've driven roughly 20 miles of mostly freeway with some surface streets mixed in to and from the freeway.
Observations:
Any and all throttle lag is gone. The car noticeably shifts out of 1st quicker and tends to hit the RPM sweet spot a little better throughout all gears. I did a couple of downshifts from 7th into 6th/5th on the freeway to punch it and the car is noticeably quicker 40-120 MPH. The car "seems" to just be smoother throughout all acceleration; keep in mind, that these are my observations and should be taken as that and not fact.
Let me finish by saying that for those of you who are expecting a 'night and day' difference after the ECU Tune, you may be setting your expectations a little high. I personally didn't expect more than what was promised, an additional 24 HP. I didn't dyno the car before I got the ECU tune, so please don't make posts of "OMG you should have dyno'd, you waisted your money". I do plan on getting the car dyno'd after kleeman comes out with the headers this summer, at which point, I'll report my findings.
I paid 1500 dollars for the tune, again, it's my money and I'll spend it how I want to. It's a 3 day turnaround on the tune, and as with most ECU tunes, unless the MB Tech is physically inspecting the tune, it's undetectable. My shop has an agreement with Kleeman that if the ECU is re-flashed by the dealer, that they will re-flash at no charge as long as I own the car. This might not be Kleeman's policy with everyone as my shop has been the #1 Kleeman Dealer in the US for the past 4 years.
I've attached the Kleeman provided dyno's which show the car with ECU Tune and Headers putting out 319 HP. I work nights so I won't be able to answer any of your questions until tomorrow. I hope this information helps out anyone sitting on the fence.

Krytech, after driving the car pretty hard the past 40 miles or so, I can say that there is more of a difference than I had originally thought. I think it's a worthwhile investment, especially if you're gonna get the headers too.

It's tempting to do right now and then get it re-flashed once I get the headers installed. Cory said they have an enhanced tune you can run if you have their headers installed. He said it can provide even more output by running more ignition timing and few other tweaks they can do with their headers. He said they would only charge $500 to re-flash once the headers are on, but he also said it wasn't required to do. Tempting...very temping.

Not sure about Kleemann but I know many of the other tuners have and ECU upgrade for the C300. The gains will be a little less but that's to be expected. Kleemann mentions the 230 & 280 M272 engine variants so the 3.0L is likely supported as well.
