Tele Aid Buttons
For those of you didn't order Tele Aid as an option, do you still get those 3 buttons by the dome light control??
Quite frankly, I don't understand why MB would not build the buttons and hardware in for every w204 that way they might make more money down the road if the owner changed his mind and want Tele Aid later down the road...

AFAIK, Tele-Aid is not something the dealer can install. This is one of those options that are installed in the factory. I know this because when we ordered the dealer informed that additional microphone and equipments are installed and wired in. Again, this is what I was told but I might be wrong too.
Because of Tele-Aid we do not carry the 1800 number for roadside assistance - all we do is push the button, schedule the tow truck to pick us up wherever we are stranded and in the meanwhile pop in a DVD and enjoy the MM system!

or the pano roof, lol why would they install it for free when it cost extra and is an extra feature? Just in case u want it?

Because it cost money to subscribe to Tele Aid, by not equip cars with it (standard on w203) they lose out the chance of adding new scribers down the road
So, if we didn't choose Tele Aid as an option, then there will be no microphone and no 3 buttons by the dome light right??
