Bluetooth pairing code

Can someone post up the bt pairing code for a C300? I searched but didn't see anything. I have a C300 loaner while my car is in the shop. Thanks!

you make it up, so long as you enter the same code in both. most people use 1234.

white and whiter
there's no code on the C-class. just 0000 the first time you use it unless you want to use something else.

So I too have a loaner and someone else have already added other phones.

I tried 1234 and 0000 and neither works.....anyone know how to reset so I can pair my phone? I'm going to have this car for a week or so and I'd like to use the handsfree.

Thanks!

Your not doing it right then. If I remember right, you have to start from the head unit, search for available BT devices and select your phone. You would then have to enter the code you selected at both ends as requested.

Do you have a user manual for the audio system in this car?

I'll try it again because it only seems to be asking for the code on the phone and not the car...I'll go try it now.

Thanks!

Another round of ICE
After you enter it on the phone, you will be asked to enter it on the car. You can delete previously paired phones in the same menu.

I'm having the same problem, and it doesn't get that far to asking you to enter a code on the car. It fails at the phone with the wrong code.

I used 1143 to pair my phone with a loaner. I think that code was in the manual.

On MB the bluetooth code is MBUSA (numerically spelled out).

Was it the page number in the manual, or car height (in mm)? I cannot see why the manual would show any codes unless they just show one for example. In any case if you can find a reference to this from the manual, I'd be interested.

This is the sequence for pairing from the copy of an Audio 20 manual that I have:
Select Telephone/Telephone list/Update
From the list, select your BT phone and select Options/Authorise.
The Audio 20 display says "Please enter passcode here and on the Bluetooth telephone".
Any code between 1 to 16 digits is ok. Enter the code and then confirm with "OK".
After this the BT phone should request the same code to be entered.

After successful pairing one should authorise the Audio 20 to connect automatically (set from the phone, the phone accepts Audio 20 connection requests automatically).
