Needle motion on start up?

An example:

I personally love this

Is there an engineering menu hack we can do to make the needles move like that on startup?

lol the IS does this too.

I dont think you can get the MB to do this, however, if you notice closely, you will see the needle dip 1 mm lower and then back up when you start it up or turn it off

I love it too and wish many more cars in the MBZ line up did this as well. Are you sure this can't be programmed? The SL63 does it...

My wife's Subaru Legacy does the full-sweep on start-up as well... no biggie to me. My son gets more of a kick when the navi screen reveals itself from under the dash cover.
