Some of you may think this is a stupid question..but I would like to find out..

Could you direct me on where to place 3M tape. he told me to go get 3M to secure the spoiler. (where did you buy your 3M tape? walmart? autozone?)

If you have it installed..could you put together a simple drawing or description where to put the 3m tape so the spoiler holds nice and doesn't scratch the existing trunk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you can pick up the tape at home depot, lowes, or OSH. Make sure you get the heavy duty version.

Not sure if the JBSpeed has it, but the Brabus one has a slight indention on the inside which is where the double-sided tape should be placed in. This allows it to sit more flush on the trunk. Just one strop along the edges of the indention surrounding the spoiler. The side wings, you'll probably have to take the tape and cut it in half long wise and repeat the process.

 

Just got quote from JBSPEED on the Brabus spoiler.

Any concerns installing this spoiler yourself? Does JBSPEED ship instructions? Just don't want to ruin paint on my new C300.

 

No instructions, working on getting prepared to install. Making sure everything is ready. Clean both surfaces..I went to autozone got 3M heavy duty side molding doublesided tape. its made for cars. clean surface. place tape...outer area. as said above. I think the key is cleaning both surfaces etc
