8000K Hid Kit

I got my C when it first came out and most C's then didnt have the P2 package thus i wasn't able to get the HIDs uughh !! Well i finally took the plunge and got a set of 8000K HIDs installed and i'm very happy with the color ....with a slight hint of blue i wasnt sure if 8000k was right or 6000k ?? I figured if im paying for a kit it might as well look different than the OEM 4300's and 6000's ..... i was afraid of it not looking that much different sooo i went withthe 8000's and i'd suggest the same for anyone who is undecided. Anyways ........ my new headlights

I believe its the entire Phillips kit and yes i also thought the look was a little too blue for me but after looking at it awhile i actually liked the look. I was going for a pure white i probably would have gotten by going with a 6000k but i'm more than happy with the 8000k !! So hopefully with those who aren't sure which way to go at least now you have an idea of how an 8000k would look !

I'm running 8000K and loving it. Pics make it bluer than they really are. Added bonus, easier to match bluish eyelids

Thanks guys i know in the pictures they seem blue and times when i look at the headlights i feel they're a tad blue also but i rationalize the color by thinking "her at least it looks a different?" than just all the other bright lights or oem 4300k hids soo i don't mind the blueish color !! The one thing that is slowly but surely aggravating me now is my eyelids and sidemarkers uughhhh they look soo yellow so yeah ill be hoping on azn's next gb for the led's !!!!!

Looks good, I am planning to change the bulbs for my car too, but I don't know if I should get 6000k or 8000k. The Lamin-X tint makes my HID look like halogen.

How is the overall light output when you go up to 8000K?

I have no problem. I too thought id wouldnt see as good with al the talk about higher K's meaning less light i was pleasently surprised to see the HIDs really brighten the road a lot further out than what i'm used to
