I've never driven my car for over 30 minutes before...I wonder why I can't get to a mpg like that.
When I drive local (20 to 25 minutes, minimal stop lights, avg speed limit is 40), I can usually get up to 23 mpg, I try to be light on the gas and cruise between 40 and 50.
On the highway, which I've never been on for more than 20 minutes, the most I've seen is 25. When I try to keep it steady around 60 or 70, I don't really see it go up too much. I'm at 2600 miles, I wonder if I need to break it in more, or if my trips are just too short.
