C300 6speed
Can the dealer see how you drive?
Just wondering if the dealer can get a print out of how the car is driven, such things as: max speed, highest rpm and how long the rpm has been within a specific range.






Because in my case, i think i would have a hard time getting any warranty work done!!

no they cant. the car is equipped with a "black box" that records things before an accident, but i dont think the dealer has the authority to see it.

I believe Star diagnostic does record the highest speed attained and although a dealer employee may deny it, I do believe that a knowledgeable technician will be able to find out the highest speed attained.

im not 100% sure, but my friend, who is Mercedes tech, found how many times the ESP has gone off in my car through the star diag computer.

Doesn't mean squat. After all, all that snow and ice you get in Fresno activates ESP on a regular basis.

When I saw stepper motor I knew it was a 203 and then I saw C320. Yes, stepper motors were warranty replacements in my '01 C320. More than once.
And then there were the seat memory modules, over and over.
