parametric equalizer in engineering mode

Has anyone got any tip on how to set parametric equalizer inside engineering mode??
(under entertainment settings and equalizer sub menu)

The original setting for my front speakers were
0600 3.0 +2.0
2300 2.2 -1.0
1000 3.0 +0.0
1000 3.0 +0.0

However, I accidentally pressed on the tune icon and changed the setting to flat, when I changed it back to tune, this is as close as I can set the values..
0600 3.0 +2.0
2000 2.0 +1.0
1000 3.0 +0.0
1000 3.0 +0.0

The system will not allow me to change from 2000 to 2300 and would jump to 3000 as next increasment...same thing with the 2.0 value, next increasement would be 2.5...

Does anyone know what I need to do to get the values back?? Really dont' want to go down to my dealership and ask them to reprogram the head unit..

Do you have a Comand Audio 20?

Did you try pulling fuse 26 to totally remove power from the command so it resets? Can you find the Comand reset option in the Engineering Menu?

I warned people about this. I know it was an accident but that's why people should not mess around like this.
Sorry for you mishap. Hopefully the suggested fix will work.

There is no reset option in the engineering menu...
I removed fuse 26 and 84 and confirmed that head unit has lost power..
However, when I put the fuse back in, the head unit still retain all the settings (radio stations, bluetooth, etc)
Do I also have to pull the cable off car's battery? If I do so, will I erase other things like instrument cluster info?

You probably have non volitile memory where some things won't loose its settings....like the total miles driven.

Yep, by law some of the information has to be stored in non-volatile memory.

That is unrelated to the COMAND unit though, which does indeed store all your settings in non volatile memory.

You might try the regular reset of the unit (erases everything) - that may or may not change the equalizer setting in the engineering menu. One way to find out!
