As addenum, is there anyone skilled enough to add a sheath around the led to let it project a bit forward? Maybe that would give it a more LED headlamp look AND fix the edge housing problem?

Thinking of a sheath that extends from the receptor out to the edge of the LED yellow cluster, varying shapes may allow it to distort different lights. Michael, if you know someone who may be skilled to do it, you might get a good ole business running getting those done.

The sheath should resist high heat too, since they do get extremely hot.

USPS Parcel Post is 2-9 days. The last group buy we had some that got it in 2 days, while others went all the way to the every end. Some on east coast got it before some closer to me in California.

I agree with the comment about the process, and I'm willing to spend the money experimenting as long as we all get a good end result and the prices aren't extorionate.

I obviously haven't plugged them into a car, but since the side markers and interiors don't shift colour, could the shifting be to any differences in current drawn by the LEDs? The colour shift is likely to do with the heating of the LED itself as LEDs should really be emitting light at very narrow wavelength band... Heating will cause the colour to shift, but why would the interior lights remain pure white? For once my MSci in Physics is useful in the real world!

i just installed them on my car. They were kinda blue when i installed them but went to a white color. The only thing that i dont like, is that they dont match my 6000k hid kit. I got the warm white lights. will be putting pics up shortly.

ok, well, I should have a bunch of the next level up pure whites which should give you a more blue color and I think there were people who said they wanted to buy the warm whites if there were any extras, so you could sell your warm whites and buy my pure whites?

Well, I posted who had what quantity of what LED type already, so just PM someone who had the cool white. I was thinking of recommending cool white to you, but from the last group buy, people were saying the warm whites were blue.

i just did some research and i found the lights on ebay. The lsiting says that they are for super white. Do you know what those look like??

i juz received my warm white 4300k ,
installed after few mins they was turn purple!! ????????

It's a trick of the eyebrow housing. Plug them in outside for several minutes and they stay white.

Mine is turn purple too (warm white) does anyone has the cool or pure white pics I would love to see it. I thought it would be matching with my OEM HID (4300K) but it turn out those LED are purple

installed it on my friends C63 AMG today and it turned out pretty well.. well for the first half an hour I guess. The right eyelid, first light ( the one on the left) was a ***** to take off. It took me like half an hour to get that out. After we finally took it out, we changed it and put everything back in and turned on the car to find out only 1 of the lights on his left eyelid would turn on, then had to take everything out again and turn the leds aound and redo them, everything turned on.. excellent! went for mcdonalds came back they were PURPLE ! ahha now I know what you guys mean when you guys said it turned purple. BUT... in my opinion, purple doesn't look all that bad.

juz installed warm white before few mins on this pic , still be white..
i will take some pic tomorrow after few mins turn purple !
changed License Plate Lights take 10mins only!

@danson, i havn't put it on my C300 but my friends c63 with the purple eyelids look not bad at all! I think it probably has something to do with the blacked out housing of the headlamps you think it looks good on the regualr c300 as well?

Michael, do you know if the Pure Whites have a higher threshold to not produce purple/blue? My warm whites seem like they are turning more blue now and that's not a good thing for me with the popo.
