X-Pipe Drone?
All right I had this done. The audio clips everybody has sounds sweet on the 350’s…
Am I the only one hearing drone between 54-62 mph? It seems more evident between 1700-2000 rpms which put me at about 58 mph. In Hawaii we can’t always drive 70 mph (where there is no drone at all). I find myself down shifting out of 7th into 6th just to make it go away… Not major but it’s there.
And YES, I love the way it sounds when your on it! No loss of power to my perception, although this thing was never a rocket ship or claimed to be one.
This is the part I installed… From Jegs.com. It looked like better design than the magnaflow and was cheaper! Only $59 bucks!
And the link… http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30680/10002/-1

Didn't know you were a fellow Hawaiian VaderSS. :P
I don't notice any drastic drone noise 50-60 on my xpipe but that was with some sound proofing done. However, this is a bad comparison since my previous car had a catless 3inch exhaust system from downpipe back on a EJ205 block.

WWMIndy & Azn_C300 … The picture that I’ve linked is from their website (jegs). Mine arrived new, without rust and I treated it with High temp. Exhaust paint in/out then baked it! (buddies paint heat stand… not my home oven)… I choose this design not for the cost savings but the way it appeared to flow vs. the magnaflow (not speaking bad about their product at all).
ulovemybenzo... Not in this style... it's the only narrow one I could find in the 30 minutes searching without Cannibalizing some mustang x-pipe
Imboom… Waassssuppp! Yup! Born & Raised!.... did a few mods/DIY’s (posted some here!). But I work a lot so off and on.
Here’s some pics of the ride

I was trying to buy it from the link
they want to charge me another 60 dollars for handling fee (wtf?), ground shipping fee, and brokage fee...lol
guess I will have to look for another place to buy :|
