Painting a spoiler

I received the AMG style spoiler yesterday with wrong color. The seller agreed to refund me the amount that it would cost me to get it repainted.

I'm planning to go and get an estimate, but I'd like to get an idea beforehand so I'm prepared. Based on your experience how much would a dealer or an independent shop charge to paint a spoiler?

$1-200 depending on region and shop.

I'm being quoted between $150 - $170 by independent body shops, which seem to be on the high side.

Lol got a guide on how to do it yourself? I'm no painter but don't you have to get off the old paint, by sanding, then paint prime and etc? It would be super nice if someone set up a DIY for painting small things

I think if it was me Id just buy those matte covers and just wrap the spoiler and pocket some extra change :P

color matching would be the hard part.
