Will these rims fit on W204?

Sorry, I tried searching. I couldn't find the stock 17" rim and tire size.

I'm buying the wheels for my dad's car.

They are old CLK AMG rims.

225 45 17 for front,
245 40 17 for rear,

I don't have offset info off hand.

Can anyone tell me they'd fit?

Does the w204 run a staggered setup?

There is no reason asking if they will fit without the wheel width and offset.

W204 has a very different offset than prior MB models. So it is unlikely that the CLK rims will work on the W204 without adversely affecting the suspension geometry.

Offset changes as you change your rim width.

I believe there was a good offset thread on MyMBonline.

they will be very flushed with the fender and may rub. It wouldn't be as bad because they're only 7.5 and 8.5 with et37-34 offset.

Your moving from 8.5" width to 7" width is a +19mm offset difference.
And the stock w204 is +54mm, which means that in order to be at the current position your new 7" rims will need a +35mm offset.

The good thing is that you can run about -10mm to -15mm less of an offset on the W204 before it is noticeable that your rims are sticking out from the fender.

So, as long as your new rims offest are....
- no more then +43mm in the front and +35 in the rear (7in width only)
- no less then +28mm in the front and +20 in the rear (7in witdh only)
...then you should be okay.

The CLK usually run around +35mm and +30mm...but i dont know what rims you have.

Note - This is from my experience and research. Please do your own research. I will not be held liable for your actions.
except the CLK's AMG rims are 7.5 and 8.5. NOT 7".

The offset difference is too great. I had a set of AMG wheels like that on my W203, BTW.

Its' so hard to find them locally. (AMG reps with a high offset) I guess I'll have to get a set online or get the OEM's. But anything under 40-42 is too low though, correct?

with 8.5 ET35 it will have a very aggressive offset. you can look at Vince's car with the BBS CH. those are 8.5 with ET35. if you don't mind rolling the fender than it's not that you can't run them.

W204 with Replica C63 AMG Black Series Widebody Kit
Hi guys, recently bought a FL W204 with replica C63 AMG Black Series Widebody Kit. I am now looking for a rim to go with the new kit. I've spotted a used OEM Factory CLK63 AMG Black Series rim on sales. It is 19' and 9' width front and 9.5' width on the rear with offset of 25/front and 31/rear. So may I know whether this rim would fit onto my W204? Thanks!
