Clunking after H & R super sport install...HELP
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help diagnose this issue.
last week i installed H & R super sports...perfect drop. after the install i had to wait a couple of days for an alignment. in those couple of days i didn't drive the car too hard...(wanted everything to settle properly)...and didn't notice anything wrong at all...the steering wheel was straight, car wasn't pulling and no rubbing issues. then i brought it in, got it aligned on my lunch break and drove it back to the office. on the trip back i realized that the steering wheel was cocked about 8-10 degrees to the left and the car was pulling right...bad. also there is a very noticeable and annoying clunking noise from the right front wheel well at slower speeds.
i'm pretty sure nothing is rubbing, it doesn't when i hit the speed bumps in the office lot and they are nasty. i even asked the the alignment guy how far off it was before he did the alignment. it was was still in spec so technically i didn't even NEED it done however, i would never do any suspension work without one.
needless to say i have made another appointment at the shop. its only the right side so i don't think its a settling issue with the springs. offsets are well within range. no spacers needed. 18's...8.5 235 F, 9.5 255 R...any ideas?

the shop must fix this, it is their mistake for not securing it well enough. i ended up taking mine to my dealership and paid $250 to get it fixed. but i made sure the place that did my lowering reimbursed me for it.

thanks for the help guys. everything is tight...it wasn't the stabilizer or sway bar and it wasn't the alignment. we put it back on yesterday and everything was still straight as an arrow. its weird because today was the first day it rained and the undercarriage got wet. the knock was still there but not nearly as bad...almost like a lubrication issue.
anyway, i brought it to a friends shop at lunch today and he's taking a look. i'll get it back in a couple of hours and hopefully its all better...will post results in case anyone else runs into this issue. thanks again.

You guys have any other ideas? the alignment is spot on...NOTHING is loose (we pulled everything apart, lubed and reassembled again last night), there is no rubbing and everything seems to be perfect. what the hell could it be...a bad spring? it almost feels/sounds like the spring is turning slightly on the mounts but its all very very tight. any ideas are very much appreciated

we had 3 guys on it yesterday...pulled the entire assembly apart and put it back together...no one could figure it out. thats why i'm open to ANY suggestions at all. i have no idea what it could be except a bad spring but thats SO unlikely.
if i can't figure it out or if nobody in the forums has any other ideas the only thing i can think of its to pull both the front springs out and mount them upside down. that shouldn't matter but if there is any difference what so ever in the two springs it might help reset their compressions.
i suppose another option is to pull them both out and switch sides. if the left starts doing it and the right stops then its definitely a bad spring.

This is usually an issue with short springs, when the suspension is travelling upwards the spring gets somewhat loose and may twist ever so little out of its "sockets"
When the suspension then travels downwards the spring jumps back into the socket thus causing the clunking noice.
