iPod integration question - 2009 c350
Hey everyone,
Just registered here today. Bought a 2009 c350 on Saturday and I've been trying to figure out the iPod integration. When I connect my iPod touch to the adapter (thick black cord with a white connector) in the glove compartment...are my only options to hear random songs on shuffle? Is there anyway to see lists of songs and albums on the COMAND nav screen? I have the whole Multimedia Package.
Thanks in advance!

Nope. The POS only displays on the instrument cluster and only one line. To navigate the left button wheel on your steering wheel acts as the iPod click wheel (the left and right buttons are not part of it, you use up and down to scroll and OK for Enter). The Menu button is the phone hang-up button on the right side of the steering wheel.

FYI - Mid City Engineering has something I saw on YouTube that directly interfaces the IPod integration with the COMAND system allowing you to see your IPod lists on the screen and use the nav wheel to turn through the menus. I can't remember if it was for retrofit MM installs, or for existing MM vehicles... I don't feel like finding the link, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard ~
