Today, I crossed one of my local intersections, which has a slight hump in it. By no means a horrible pothole or bump. Well, I went over it at about 45, and as I hit it, BOTH front and rear right side speakers went out!!! If I dial the sound to the right, theres VERY faint, crackly sound coming from both speakers.

I guess when I hit the bump, a loose connection failed? I had been having a problem with my passenger door speaker fading in and out if my car had been sitting in the sun for a while.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

I think the warranty should cover it - especially if it's a loose connection. Just don't mention the bump. Do tell them it was fading in and out though.

That was a very hard hit for the speakers to come out of place and no damage to the rims?

I am pretty sure its not the speaker, there is something wrong with your amplifier, if you have Audio20 you need to change the entire radio unit.

I just played with my iPod cable and plug..and the speakers came back on. There still is probably a loose connection somewhere though.
