Service Nightmare
Anyone had their car serviced at Gurley-Leep in South Bend, Indiana before?
I took mine their for stupid-simple warranty work, and as it was returned to me in tatters, they clearly skipped the step in servicing a vehicle where you put it back together...
Just curious if anyone has had similar experiences or whether this was an anomaly.
Best,
Chris

It seems to me that European cars are not the Midwest cup of tea. Have read about horror stories in Chicago, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Detroit, now Indianapolis... Too bad MB USA or DB are not very responsive to these bloopers by their dealers, apparently they care more about their profit plans than their Company prestige and honesty. Prestige does not feed my children, they might think. But they sell cars, you dumb asses.
I hope that this be digested by the neurons of the intended parties in the constructive manner in which it was intended. Like a wake up call, annoying but punctual.
Cheers, JV

Did you take any pictures? If my car was in "tatters" when I get it back from service, I wouldn't take it back. Before you sign for the release, my dealership, has me get back into the car and make sure everything is fine.

Ended up taking it to Indianapolis to have everything redone properly - and guess what? They did it right the first time! Amazing to think that these a**holes in South Bend didn't give a damn
The guys in Indy always do a fantastic and more importantly thorough job
